in the video below a 24 point patchbay is freely routed to manual control or midi. circuit bent wavesequencing is controlled via midi from the dsi evolver. the evolver is used to send evolving sequences and is only used for control information of the midi interface. note that all sustained sounds retains the bend activated at time of key-on on the device. all newly triggered key-on sounds will activate whatever bend is sequenced at time of note-on. all sounds from the dark age tone generator is played via onboard interface.

in addition to midi bend triggering it takes expression pedal in or takes output from spunkytoofers midi modules or any of spunkytoofers rackmount synthesizers into the 1/8″ stereo input on the back of the extention box.. the 1/8″ inch in allows sample rate to be modulated over midi. sample rate can be selected to be controlled manual via knob or over midi at the 1/8″ inch in with the knob acting as a coarse range over the entire range of the mu5’s sample rate.
